Aryan Khan sent to 14 days judicial custody
Days after Aryan Khan was arrested and taken to NCB custody, after a cruise ship raid, the Mumbai court has now taken the star kid under judicial custody. Along with Aryan, Arbaaz Merchant and 6 others have also been held for custody. Court says the case will now be heard by special NDPS court. Shah Rukh Khan’s son was earlier taken to the court for his bail hearing today, where his lawyer Satish Maneshinde had made a strong case for bail, saying ‘Aryan cannot be held hostage’.During the session, the lawyer also revealed that Aryan hasn’t been interrogated for two nights. At the same time, advocate Satish Maneshinde has argued on behalf of Aryan in the court that- ‘A special friend of mine Prateek told me on the phone that I have been invited as a VVIP on a cruise event.
I have probably been called to add glamor to the cruise’. Satish says that ‘there were more than 1300 people on the ship but only 8 people were arrested’. Aryan’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde told the court that no interrogation of Aryan has been done for two nights. Then why is there a demand to increase the custody further? He also said that Aryan cannot be held hostage until the main culprits are found. Bollywood actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son Aryan Khan and others who were arrested by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) in the cruise ship drugs case were produced before a magistrate court on Thursday. Granting them some relief, eight accused were sent to judicial custody. Aryan Khan’s bail application will now be heard on Friday at 11 am. So far, more than 15 people have been arrested by the NCB after raids were conducted on Cordelia Cruises’ Empress ship. The NCB raided a high-profile rave party on Empress Cruise ship off the coast of Mumbai on Saturday, October 2.
The probe agency claimed to have seized 13 grams of cocaine, five grams of MD, 21 grams of charas and 22 pills of Ecstasy and Rs 1.33 lakh in cash. The anti-drugs agency’s allegations that WhatsApp chats found in the phone of actor Shah Rukh Khan’s son, Aryan Khan, point to involvement of an international supplier network is far from the truth, the 23-year-old’s lawyer Satish Maneshinde said today while arguing for bail in a Mumbai court. The Narcotics Control Bureau or NCB told the court today that it needs to keep Aryan Khan in custody so that it can cross-examine him in detail along with Achit Kumar who, it claims, supplied drugs to Aryan Khan. But it has had plenty of time to do so already, argued Aryan Khan’s lawyer.

The chats are about football, and football does not contain any drugs,” Mr Maneshinde told the court.
